  1. If anybody has any doubt that Prince was not a musical genius, check out the You Tube video of Prince playing guitar to Jimi Hendrix “Red House” (purple version) It is a stunning cover.

Unbelievable. Totally breathtaking performance. I am on the floor. One of the best musicians that ever lived is Prince. He is very misunderstood. The sax with Prince playing with the band is amazing. Ten minutes of killer blues. RIP Prince.

  2. Oh, I see the freaky cry babies are blubbing into their snotty hankies again….. Bawaaaaaaah

  3. May the truth set you free from your laughable delusions of a beloved Michael Jackson. Prince is a billion dollar empire with Paisley Park. The purple one lived in his own hometown and was not secluded. Michael Jackson lived far away from civilization so he could abuse his many victims, including his zoo animals that starved in their tight cages without food and water. Millions of Prince fans can easily travel to Minneapolis since it is near airports, hotels and shopping centers. Taxis, buses and shuttle services will be able to bring fans to Prince’s home from and to airports, hotels. Neverland is way out in the middle of nowhere because Jacko had something to hide. Prince wins hands down. lol.

  4. Prince has the number one and number two spots on top of the Billboard 200 album charts with “The Very Best Of Prince” and “Purple Rain.” The greatest hits CD is now a number one album in Prince’s enormous catalogue. All Prince CD’s are sold out and retailers report record breaking sales. Demand for Prince merchandise is at an all time high. Retailers are claiming a 16,000% spike on Prince music sales and everything purple. It is absolutely amazing. Prince is showing that his incredible legacy is going to soar high in the coming years as millions and millions of people flock to Paisley Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota to visit the new tourist attraction. Business around the complex will be booming as hotels, restaurants, shopping areas and other Prince related activity brings fans into Minneapolis. The state benefits. Prince means growth, employment and money for the city. Great.

  5. Before Jackson died, he was 600 million dollars in debt. He lost Neverland and sold half of his shares of Sony/ATV to drum up some much needed cash flow. It apparently was not enough, so he signed a contract with concert promoter, AEG for an engagement @ London 02 that never took place because he died before he could do even one show. Nevertheless, he was still going broke because he spent more than what he was earning. That was nobody’s fault but his own. In Prince’s case, he was not selling like he used to but still owned Paisley Park. He fought hard to own all his music from Warner Brothers but was finally able to get to that goal. Prince had cash flow problems as well, but somehow managed to stay free of debt. Instead of selling his music to be used in advertising, Prince simply went on tour to make money. His new music was not selling, so he was forced to work by touring regularly. Prince still lived within his means. He found out that he owed the IRS 1.6 million and simply paid it off free and clear. It pays to be caught up with taxes, or Uncle Sam will impose pentalties and fees. Prince obvious did not want that. In Michael Jackson’s case, he did not care because he lived in an old rented mansion that was falling apart. Michael did drugs and stayed in bed most of the time. He got Dr Conrad Murray do give him his nightly propofol shots and died an embarrassing death. Prince apparently was hooked on pills, needed a hip replacement but did not want blood transfusions for the operation. He was a devout Jehovah’s Witness that took his faith seriously. He took more meds for hip pain and overdosed. He still was not a criminal like Michael Jackson. Do not cheat the IRS, folks. They will take everything.

  6. Prince has something in common with Elvis, Little Richard, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, The Beatles and even Liberace. He was a strange musical genius, but was never a criminal. He was never arrested, never sued and never paid off countless victims to keep their mouths shut. Prince worked tirelessly year after year since 1978, making music, movies, live gigs and television appearances. Prince refused to do a duet with Michael Jackson to sing “Your Butt Is Mine.” Michael Jackson was jealous of Prince, not the other way around. Prince was linked to many beautiful women over the years. How and why he died is irrelevant.

Yes, you can have a broken heart, but Prince is still more respected and honored than Michael Jackson. Prince worked on being a musician, NOT a tabloid clown that manipulated his victims.

    • if you a real prince fan , why compare him to Michael Jackson.
are you that insecure , that desperate , yes you are

      • Who can really compare to Michael Jackson?

        Gary Glitter.
        An alien from planet Jacko.
        A scary circus clown.
        Lobster boy.
        A cockroach.
        A gassy fart.
        A rotted piece of fruit.
        A toad.
        A dancing pray mantis.
        A snake.
        A skeleton.
A creature from the deep sea.
        A wounded birdie.

        Yes, Prince rules.

        • Yes, your rudeness & shamelessness, viruses rules on SOA . MJ is UNIQUE GENIUS! KING MJ can not be compared with anyone like Prince or Elvis, never! He is unique and incomparable ever! Long live King of Music, of all Masterpieces ARTS ever! King of Music Michael Jackson reigns ETERNALLY! Love you beautiful Michael! Prince is UGLY!

  7. Prince has sold 2.5 million albums in the past 3 days. Michael Jackson sold 9-12 million since his embarrassing death in 2009. That is 7 years. Knowing that Prince has 39 studio albums in his back catalogue, 2000 unpublished songs in the vault, and his recording studio home, Paisley Park in Minneapolis opened up as a museum, Prince is definitely going to crush Michael Jackson. Neverland was lost to the bank due to non payment. Michael owed Uncle Sam over a billion dollars. His estate sold his Sony/ATV publishing catalogue to pay down some of his debt. In comparion, Prince owned the IRS just 1.6 million, but paid it off before he died and still owned everything, free and clear. Of course, he did not leave a will. His full sister will own the estate with his half siblings. They will have to pay estate taxes though. Prince is still doing better than Wacko. I laugh & laugh & laugh. “The Best Of Prince” and “Purple Rain” is what Billboard is calling a double number one. They raced up the top of the album charts like a bullet, while Spike Lee’s reissued “Off The Wall” sold peanuts. I laugh & laugh & laugh….

    • there goes your clean , healthy image of prince. karma is a bitch , bitch
      newspapers are tearing him apart

  8. they tried it with Elvis , it didnt work
they try it now with prince , it aint gonna work

good luck , you cant beat the music god.

elvis and prince have more in common than i thought. too bad

    • Michael Jackson is the one who destroyed his reputation, his career and legacy. Since he spent his entire fortune and hid money from the IRS, his estate now has to pay back taxes, penalties and fees as well as current taxes. Prince owed nothing before he died and still lived in Paisley Park. Estate lawyers will now have to figure out what they have to pay the IRS. Of course, the Elvis Presley estate was never in debt so it is not a problem for them. We do not know yet what will happen with Prince’s estate, but if they do not lie to the IRS, they will still be able to make money. The marketing of Prince’s image, his music and home in Minneapolis is in its planning stages. The man did not trust lawyers, so he did not leave a will. He had no wife or children. It is a complex issue. His siblings will have to split Prince’s estate. For the time being, it remains up in the air. If they do not get greedy, they should all make money. They should take note of how to run a continuous business empire. They should make sure they do not lie to Uncle Sam.

  11. Prince had 39 studio albums released during his lifetime. Out of those albums, 19 have reached the top 10. Today, those numbers just climbed to 22 with back to back chartbusters of #1 and #2 positions for “The Best Of Prince” and “Purple Rain.” In addition, “B Sides” is currently @ #6. In the UK, “Ultimate Prince” has entered into the top 10. Michael Jackson only achieved 16 top 10’s since the early days of The Jackson 5, who never once hit #1 with any album on the US Billboard 200. The first #1 album Michael Jackson ever had was “Thriller” in 1983. Clearly, Prince now has 6 more top 10’s than Michael, easily destroying the delusional fantasies his fans continue to spew. Prince started in 1978, a full eight years after The Jackson 5. Most intelligent music lovers can now figure out that Prince upstaged Michael Jackson in life, and now, he will continue to do so in death. Posthumous Prince albums are forthcoming. Prince’s career spanned 38 years versus 39 years for The Jacksons/Michael Jackson. Prince put out more hits.

Prince wins by a wide mile.

    • You are not endowed with the necessary capacity and not have enough intellect to appreciate the high values and professional elite in a field and these, nor have from where something concrete to go out at sight? From where to go out such brilliant abilities, from a poor DNA? NO hope ever! Get a life helpless losers! LOL @ yours helplessness Woe @ you empty-headed!!! WOE of YOU ALL TROLLS!

    • Only Michael Jackson….

Elvis was awarded 30 new certifications of gold, platinum and multiple platinum awards within the last two years alone. “If I Can Dream” was number one in the UK and went 4 x platinum 2015-2016. It has been a very good year for a posthumous Elvis. Michael Jackson’s “Xscape” went gold. Prince struggled to sell two “Hit And Run” CD’s but played sold out gigs in smaller nightclubs. Then he died. Of course, his sudden death is what made him rise to the top. Only time will tell if Prince has a legacy that will compare to a long term Elvis. Because The Jacksons lied to the IRS, they are being punished. That has nothing to do with either Prince or Elvis. Their estates pay their taxes.

  12. Does the world have to walk on eggshells to please the obnoxious Wacko flock that are easily offended by the truth of their tarnished idol?

Michael Jackson was an embarrassment. Prince was wise to stay away from that butchered skeleton dancer. He called him “Helen Keller.” Besides, Wacko was insanely jealous of Prince because the purple one upstaged him in the eighties. The Emperor might be gone, but there is no doubt that his enduring legacy will grow, while Michael Jackson will continue to fade….

    • Prince is dead and suddenly some losers are prince fan.
everybody attacking prince when the red lady was here.
      now they are prince fans.
they couldnt beat michael with elvis , now they try it with prince
      good luck , old farts.

  13. Just last year, Elvis grabbed another multiple platinum number one album to add to his string of successes. No promotion was needed. In addiction, he was featured once again on a US postage stamp. Sales for “If Can Dream” hover close to 4 x platinum. It was the forth biggest selling album of the year with only 3 living artists ahead of him. With the sudden death of Prince, he now stands to make millions for his estate, which includes countless posthumous releases in the near future. Prince left behind a vault of unreleased music that will no doubt give the Jimi Hendrix estate a run for their money. Prince was a musical genius that fought hard for ownership of his own music from Warner Brothers. Therefore, he kept his real great stuff in the vault. It is obvious that Prince was a master instrumentist, especially on guitar. A person does not get that good by not playing. If it was not on most of his known catalogue, Prince must have recorded these performances for himself. Prince was a strange artist, but in death, we will probably be blown away by what is coming out next. Prince will became bigger deceased than he ever was alive.

    I believe that.
